Needless to say, I'm excited about this and I've already got ideas for the third book swimming around in my head. Episode Three, Continuum, may become a favourite episode for me because we will be exploring the enigma of Marcus and dedicating a lot of the book to exploring time travel and how it works for the Time Shifters.
In the meantime, we have new adventures for Akalya in Episode Two, as she travels to 1960s San Francisco, then to New York again to investigate new disappearances of the Harekai in other cities.
I'm seeing the series as a whole like a season of a television series. Each book episode would make a story arc for a television episode. There was some talk of doing this with a small studio who contacted me, but wouldn't it be cool if HBO picked it up?
I'll be starting to write again after a short breather to solicit reviews for the new book and some general marketing. Meanwhile, I've set up a Coundown deal on Amazon.com. Children of the Morning will be 99 cents from Friday 15th August to Monday 18th August. Be sure to get your copy while it's on discount!
